Class Blog

The factors involved in my food making decisions contribute towards my overall health and ability to function and perform to the best of my ability in both physical and mental activities throughout the day. For instance if I were to compete in a race I would carbo load the night before hand to provide myself with stores of energy throughout that day. If i were to have a final exam then that morning I would eat several bananas and fruits that help increase the mental functions through nutrients found in those fruits. After I take those factors into consideration I then pay attention to the ethical ramifications of what i am eating. (I.E. where am I buying my food from and how was it raised or grown?) These are the two primary factors i pay attention to when eating and looking at my food values.
